This custom memory box/urn is a handcrafted, bespoke creation designed to honor your beloved pet. I will sculpt a detailed likeness of your pet by hand and craft a box tailored to your specifications. My aim is to create a likeness in the sculpture that melts your heart and reminds you of their little being in every way. I'll include all the features that capture the essence of your pet—whether it's distinctive markings, funny faces, special ways that they cuddled up, or favorite toys- anything that made your pet truly special. 
These urns can also be used as memory boxes where you can keep special treasures like clippings of fur, whiskers, photos or toys in a safe place to remember your companion. Whatever purpose you intend this bespoke creation to have, it will be a unique and beautiful way to honor your friend, keeping their memory close to heart and home.
The basic urn includes a handmade sculpture of your pet and a name plaque in clay, painted and glazed, in proportion to the box that you have chosen. There is a variety of boxes to choose from for various sized pets (ashes by volume), a solid color paint is included in the basic urn but you are welcome to add on a stained and urethaned finish. There is a list of optional extras and their prices listed below, please message me if you would like to include any of these and I will create a special order just for you.

How it works:
1)  Please send multiple photos of your pet from as many angles as you have so I can be sure to get the correct shape and markings to messages here or through email to maxinesheaffer[at]gmail.com. If you would like a certain pose or position, please be sure to identify and explain which image you would like the sculpture to emulate. If you are including extras like collars, beds, blankets, toys, etc. please also include photos of these items as well and I will create a special custom order for you, options and prices are listed below.
2)  If you are in between box sizes, it is recommended to go to the larger size as it is better to have more room than not enough. If you have questions on which box to choose or what finish to do, please reach out.
3)  If you are not adding "Extras" to your order, please add your painted or stained box to your cart and check out. If you would like extras, please reach out and then check out on the special order link that I will create for you.
4)  It will take a few weeks to plan, build, sculpt, bake, paint, glaze and finish the box. I will be in touch throughout the process to make sure that you are happy with the creation, I want you to be in love with it before I send it out to you.
